Based on years of research and the filing of numerous patents, Nexdot has acquired perfect mastery of the manufacture and application of quantum dots, or quantum boxes, inorganic nanoparticles that absorb visible or invisible light rays extremely selectively, depending on their wavelength.
This enables us to offer varnishes incorporating these quantum boxes, which block very precise ranges of rays, without spilling over into adjacent wavelengths.
Our coatings maintain perfect absorbance over the entire harmful radiation band, with a very straight slope at the cut-off wavelength. In practice, this prevents any degradation of the protected molecules, without blocking the violet and blue rays of visible light, which would give the varnish and bottle a yellow-orange coloration.
In comparison, other anti-UV varnishes, based on other technologies, will lose absorbency too quickly as visible light approaches, and won’t effectively protect fragile molecules, or will absorb too much visible light, impacting the appearance of the bottle.

First and foremost, our varnishes protect formulations presented in transparent bottles from the impact of UV rays, more effectively than all existing solutions, and without any impact on visible light rays, i.e. without discoloration. The bottle remains perfectly transparent, while blocking UV rays.
By integrating other sizes of quantum dots into the varnish, we can also give it a very pure, fascinating coloration in the entire visible range, according to your wishes and needs, while maintaining perfect blocking of the UV range.
Finally, depending on the particular fragility of the molecules used in a formulation, we can precisely define the varnish’s cut-off wavelength, down to the nanometer, to protect your product from all harmful rays.

Our varnishes are applied to the outside of the container or bottle containing your formulation. They will never come into contact with your product. So there’s no risk of contamination or reaction with the molecules you use.
Better still, our varnishes provide perfect, long-lasting protection, so you can limit or eliminate elements in your formula designed to stabilize or protect UV-sensitive ingredients.
